DSSC March LMR Swim Meet

When: May 14th and 15th, 2022

Where: Maple Ridge Leisure Centre

Time: 

**Please note that swimmers, families and coaches, will not be allowed on deck until 7:00am. The front doors of the building will not be open until this time.

Saturday AM

All 12 and under swimmers in Gold, Youth 2, and Youth 1

Arrival and Activation: 7:15am           Warm-Ups: 7:30-8:20am        Session Starts: 8:30am

Saturday PM

All 13 and over swimmers in Youth 2, Youth 1, Senior 2, Senior Fit, and Senior 1

Arrival and Activation: 1:45pm          Warm-Ups: 2:00-2:50pm        Session Starts: 3:00pm

Sunday AM

All 12 and under swimmers in Bronze, Silver, Gold, Youth 2, and Youth 1

Arrival and Activation: 7:15am           Warm-Ups: 7:30-8:20am        Session Starts: 8:30am

Sunday PM

All 13 and over swimmers in Youth 2, Youth 1, Senior 2, Senior Fit, and Senior 1

Arrival and Activation: 1:45pm          Warm-Ups: 2:00-2:50pm        Session Starts: 3:00pm

Cost:

Silver and Bronze swimmers (Novice Level): $35.00 + $5.00 Meet Admin Fee

$9.00 per event + $4.00 Swim BC Competition Fee + $5.00 Meet Admin Fee

What to Bring:

HSSC Team t-shirt and Team Cap, Goggles, Waterbottle, Black or Dark coloured 1 piece suit for girls, and jammer or speedo for boys, multiple towels and clothes to layer, deck shoes, and small snacks to eat throughout the session.

Below is a map of where each team will be set up throughout the weekend:

**If your swimmer has a folding camping chair, they would like to bring they are more then welcome to bring it to their session!

Spectators:

We will be allowing a limited number of spectators on deck throughout the weekend to watch our swimmers race. We are asking that families of swimmer try to have no more then 1 spectator with them for their session.  If they have more people that would like to attend, we are always looking for volunteers!

COVID Protocols and Procedures:

Masks: All public health guidelines will be followed throughout the competition.


a) Officials, volunteers, and coaches are encouraged to wear masks throughout the competition.
b) Swimmers are encouraged to wear masks except for immediately prior to entering the water.

Volunteers (All hands on deck!):

We will needing the support of ALL our HSSC families throughout the weekend to run an efficient and fun meet! This is also a great chance to earn some MPP Points!

*At this time we are unsure of parents will be allowed on deck throughout the competiton as we may need to limit the number of people on deck. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the club, as well as watch your swimmer in the water!
